Beswick Pottery was established over one hundred years ago in Stoke on Trent, England. They originally produced ornaments and tableware. It was not until the 1930`s when they began to produce animal figurines starting with champion racehorses and dogs. In the late 1940`s
Beswick Pottery produced their first range of characters based on the Beatrix Potter stories. The range proved to be extremely popular and the figures remain collector`s items to this day. Beswick also produced a range of Disney figurines, such as Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh which proved to be just as sort after as the Beatrix Potter figurines.
